On Friday, the Browns announced a handful of moves, including the signing of quarterback Josh Rosen. The four-year vet out of UCLA was originally a first-round (10th overall) pick by Arizona in the 2018 Draft, but has only played in 26 career games between the Cardinals in 2018, Dolphins in 2019, and Falcons in 2021. He spent most of 2020 on the Buccaneers’ practice squad before moving to the 49ers’ active roster in December. He has 2,864 passing yards and 12 touchdowns in his career.
The team also announced that rookie wide receiver David Bell was placed on the active/physically unable to perform list with a foot injury. Bell was drafted out of Purdue in the third round of this year’s NFL Draft. He will, however, stay on the active roster and after passing a physical will be eligible to be activated.
Lastly, the team announced that they have signed defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey. The rookie made All-Big 12 Second Team in both 2022 and 2021, and was voted 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl MVP. With the signing, the Browns now have all nine of their 2022 draft picks under contract.
