CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – With the 2021 season in the books, it’s never too early to look towards the 2022 season.

By virtue of their 8-9 finish, the Browns will select 13th overall in the upcoming NFL Draft to be held at the end of April in Las Vegas.

Their third-place finish within the AFC North means the Browns will face the corresponding finisher in the AFC West, AFC South and NFC East in addition to their traditional home and home series against their division rivals along with games against the AFC East and NFC South next season.

The Browns will host the Ravens, Steelers, Bengals, Patriots, Jets, Chargers, Saints and Buccaneers and they will travel to Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Miami, Buffalo, Houston, Washington, Atlanta and Carolina.

Of Cleveland’s 14 opponents, five made the playoffs in 2021.

With the addition of a 17th game, teams will alternate year-to-year between hosting a ninth regular season game. After playing nine at home in 2021, the Browns will hit the road for nine in 2022.

Jacksonville holds the No. 1 pick in the draft followed by Detroit, Houston, the Jets and Giants to round out the top five. Carolina picks sixth followed by the Giants via a trade with Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, the Jets again from Seattle, Washington, and Minnesota.

Baltimore will pick behind the Browns 14th overall.
