In a high-scoring matchup at FedExForum the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 131-114 on the throwback Vancouver court. Memphis held the lead throughout, building momentum with key performances from Jaren Jackson Jr., who tallied 20 points and six rebounds. Jake LaRavia also had a nice night with 13 points, eight assists, and five rebounds. Despite LeBron James scoring an impressive 39 points and adding seven rebounds for the Lakers, the Grizzlies maintained control with strong shooting and a dominant 16-4 run in the fourth quarter on 92.9 FM ESPN.

Seven Grizzlies scored in double-figures led by Jaren Jackson, Jaylen Wells, and Ja Morant all dropping 20 points. Santi Aldama had a double-double 11 points and 12 rebounds on the night. Fan favorite Jay Huff had one of the great highlights of the night with the reverse put back dunk.
