Jaren Jackson Jr. tallied 40 points, with 27 in the second half, to lead the Grizzlies to a 110-108 win over the pitiful Detroit Pistons Monday night.

Cade Cunningham's bank shot at the buzzer went off the front of the rim as the Grizzlies escaped.

Memphis' bright spots beyond Jackson included a 15 point and 7 rebound night from newly returned Grizzly Brandon Clarke, 19 points and 8 assists from Luke Kennard, and 12 points to go along with 4 rebounds for Jake LaRavia.
