Both Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 23 points a piece Wednesday night (11/22), but that was about it for the Memphis Grizzlies as they dropped their 11th game of the season 111-91 in Houston. Final: Houston Rockets 111 Memphis Grizzlies 91
The Grizzlies are still 11 games away from the return of Ja Morant. Now 14 games into the season it's getting late, in a sense, if Memphis wants to make any sort of move towards becoming a playoff (or play-in) team. Especially when you consider the injuries across the board for Memphis.
For the Rockets, it was just like old times for Dillon Brooks in a sense as the former Grizzly went 0-for-5 from the 3-point arc. Jalen Green's season-high 34-point night easily made up the difference for the Rockets.
Next up: Memphis (3-11) hosts the Suns (8-6) Friday night (11/24) at 7:00 p.m. live on 92.9 FM ESPN
