Cameron Boozer looked every bit the part of the No. 3 overall pick Friday night, leading the Memphis Grizzlies to a thrilling 97-96 victory over the Chicago Bulls in their opening game of the NBA 2K26 Summer League in Las Vegas at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Boozer finished with 23 points and repeatedly delivered in key moments, helping Memphis withstand a sensational 35-point performance from Bulls rookie Caleb Wilson.

The Grizzlies controlled much of the contest after building a nine-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but Wilson caught fire late to bring Chicago within a point. Memphis held on in the closing seconds to secure the win and improve to 1-0 in Las Vegas.
Boozer showcased the polished offensive game that made him one of the top prospects in the draft, scoring inside, knocking down mid-range jumpers and showing poise against Chicago's defensive pressure. While Wilson stole headlines with a record-setting Summer League debut, it was Boozer and the Grizzlies who walked away with the victory.
Memphis received timely contributions throughout the roster and showed composure down the stretch, surviving Chicago's furious rally to begin its Las Vegas schedule on a winning note. For a young Grizzlies squad looking to build chemistry, Boozer's leadership and clutch scoring provided an encouraging first impression.
