The Memphis Grizzlies were outscored by 20 in the 4th quarter Thursday night falling to the Timberwolves 118 to 103. Memphis made a game of it for three quarters, up five heading into the fourth quarter.

But it was the Anthony Edwards show that powered the Timberwolves to the win in the second half. Edwards scored 26 of his 28 points in the second half including this dunk-contest level alley-oop to himself.

Memphis simply didn't have enough fire-power late despite a very solid game from Jaren Jackson Jr. who scored 36 points to lead all scorers. Luke Kennard hit five 3-pointers (5 of 7 from the arc) scoring 18 points.

The Timberwolves had six guys scoring in double figures including Edwards' 28 and 20 points from Naz Reid off the bench.

Next game: Memphis (15-26) will next play the Chicago Bulls Saturday on 92.9 FM ESPN at 7:00 p.m. (pregame live at 6:30 p.m.)
