Curtis Givens III, a Memphis native and former four-star recruit, has announced his transfer to the University of Memphis after completing his freshman season at LSU. At LSU, the 6-foot-3 point guard averaged 4.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. Givens, who played high school basketball at Montverde Academy, was ranked No. 61 nationally and No. 10 among point guards in the 2024 class. His decision to return home aligns with his desire to represent Memphis and contribute to the local basketball scene . Under head coach Penny Hardaway, Givens aims to bolster the Tigers' backcourt and make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
