ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Cardinals have announced their final roster cuts of spring training and we can now predict what their Opening Day roster will be.
There are a few players that have unexpectedly made the team, after having an incredible camp and taken advantage of some injuries. Here are the 26 players that will likely be going to Cincinnati on April 1 to face the Reds in the season opener:

Bullpen:
Andrew Miller

Jordan Hicks
Infielders:
Paul Goldschmidt
Tommy Edman
Paul DeJong
Nolan Arenado

St. Louis doesn't have to submit the final roster to MLB until Thursday morning.
The team also announced that it plans to place pitchers Dakota Hudson (right elbow), Kwang Hyun Kim (back) and Miles Mikolas (right shoulder), and outfielder Harrison Bader (right forearm) on the 10-day Injured List.
The final cuts were optioning pitcher Kodi Whitley and outfielder Lane Thomas and re-assigning catchers Tyler Heineman and Dennis Ortega and infielders Max Moroff and Josė Rondón.
