Something incredible is happening with Albert Pujols.
As the clock ticks down on his final season, the 42-year-old has found the fountain of youth. After tying Alex Rodriguez on the all-time home run list Saturday evening, Pujols moved into sole possession for fourth place all time with his 697th career home run Sunday:
It was a go-ahead home run for Pujols in the ninth inning, with the St. Louis Cardinals ultimately defeating the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-3.
The only players in MLB history with more home runs than Pujols now are Barry Bonds (762), Henry Aaron (755) and Babe Ruth (714).
