Dansby Swanson hit another homerun last night as he now has eight homeruns and thirty two homeruns on the season and the guys think that Swanson’s production has been a pleasant surprise and exactly what the Braves needed from their shortstop.
Carl said Dansby’s projections have him getting over 100 RBI’s.
“Right now his 32 RBI is more than Bryce Harper or Ryan Braun.” Dukes said “His average is around where we thought it should be at .254, his on-base is .315 which means he’s getting on base a good bit, and his projections have him at over 100 RBI’s which I’ll take all day.”
Mike talked about Swanson’s production being a major surprise.
“This is certainly a major surprise.” Bell said “When he should up at spring training with the wrist injury we didn’t know what we would get, and now he’s the quintessential 2 hole hitter.”
