The move seemingly secures the cleanup spot after Josh Donaldson signed with the Minnesota Twins.

Ozuna hit .241 with 29 home runs and 89 RBI last season with the St. Louis Cardinals.

"I don't know that they'll (the Braves) will ever directly admit this but I think Marcell Ozuna was probably plan B," Andy Bunker said. "But that's a pretty good plan B.

But what does that mean for the third base position?

"I'm not upset with the move," Randy McMichael said. "I just find it curious that you go get another outfielder. So is that not telling me right now that it's going to be a competition between Johan Camargo and Austin Riley for that third base spot?"

"I feel a lot more comfortable knowing that those two guys (Camargo and Riley) are a platoon at third base batting sixth or seventh than a (situation with a) platoon at third base and an attempted platoon at the cleanup spot," Andy Bunker added.
