Why NFL teams will be cautious in the upcoming draft

Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael explained why NFL teams will be particularly cautious when making selections in next week’s draft. “Teams will under draft more than overdraft this year. I think teams are going to so cautious this year because teams aren’t going to get their hands on these players,” said McMichael.

The duo’s conversation was spurred by a tweet from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:

One thing remains pretty clear heading into the 2020 NFL Draft: Coaches and evaluators have watched more tape this year than ever before. No workouts, no Pro Days… so much tape. Because there is nothing else to do. --

Bunker and McMichael went into detail about how this year’s draft could be impacted by the lack of in person interaction and be almost solely based on game film.
