On Wednesday Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael discussed whether batting or pitching has been more impactful for the Atlanta Braves during their run since the beginning of June.
Since June 1 the Braves are 25-7 overall and have made up eight games on the NL East leading New York Mets (Braves only trail Mets by 2.5 games now), who were up as many as 10.5 games in the division earlier in the season.
A lot of the Braves recent strong play can be traced back to Michael Harris being called up and making his debut on May 28 and Spencer “Stache” Strider making his first MLB start on May 30.
