The Falcons sit at 3-3 right now and host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, a team that has lost 4 straight, with a chance to move above the playoff line in the NFC.
Currently there are only six teams in the NFC that have winning records (Packers, Cardinals, Bucs, Rams, Cowboys, and Saints) and with the playoffs being expended to 7 teams per conference, the Falcons are right there.

"That Philadelphia game threw me for a loop and I've been trying to recalibrate, but they're sitting right where I thought they would be," says Falcons Digital Reporter Scott Bair. "They are right there and had opportunities to be even better and that's encouraging for this team moving forward."
The Falcons not only could move to 4-3 with a win over Carolina, and get their first NFC South win of the season, but could set up an important game in Week 9 when they travel to New Orleans to face the Saints.
