The Atlanta Falcons have made a lot of news this offseason bringing in a new head coach and general manager. Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot are charged with putting a team together to compete this season all while making sure they're able to compete 5 years from now.
The Falcons have some talent already on the roster to achieve the former. Shaun O' Hara, of NFL Network, joined the Jon Chuckery show, and he talked about the Falcons bringing in their new regime. "I think that (roster) turnover can produce some new energy" O'Hara said. There is something to be said about a new voice leading your team.
Smith definitely brings that with the type of offense he wants to run. There is no doubt that the Falcons have some building blocks right now to help them get back in the playoffs. At the end of the day, Fontenot and Smith have to make the right decisions right now if they want to be successful in the fall.
