The Miami Dolphins are adding former Atlanta Falcons standout wide receiver, Mohamed Sanu, according to his agent Mike McCartney. The soon-to-be 33-year-old wideout appeared in eight games last season for the San Francisco 49ers, catching 15 passes for 177 yards.

As a member of the Falcons between 2016 and 2019, Sanu accounted for 2,507 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns while helping the team to a Super Bowl appearance. He was eventually traded to the New England Patriots for a 2020 second-round pick.

In his most recent stint for the 49ers, Sanu played under the new Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel. The pair also spent time together in Atlanta when McDaniel was an offensive assistant.

Sanu is set to join a rather crowded receiver room in Miami that includes rookie sensation Jaylen Waddle and the newly acquired Tyreek Hill.
