Kyle Pitts has been one of the more controversial players in the NFL after being drafted fourth overall by the Atlanta Falcons in 2021. The tight end out of Florida has showcased flashes of brilliance but has also been plagued by injuries and underperforming when healthy.
Pitts caught seven balls for 88 yards in the epic comeback win for the Falcons over Tampa on Thursday Night Football. He has 15 receptions for 193 yards through five games with one touchdown. Pitts joined Dukes & Bell on Wednesday and discussed his desire to be one of the greats in the league at his position. It's all a matter of staying healthy and available for Kirk Cousins to find him open down the field.
Some argued before the season that the Falcons' offense would go as far as Pitts takes them. So far, he has been involved in the game plan, but not the dominant force everyone expected when he was drafted.
