The Atlanta Falcons enter the offseason needing to create cap space before the new league year starts in March. Dukes & Bell talked about a few ways the team could achieve that based off of NFL Network’s Steve Wyche’s recent report possible moves by the team.
Carl talked about the team extending Grady Jarrett could be one way to create more money.

“Long term is how do I create more flexibility for my team versus the short term, Grady’s worth what he’s getting but by restructuring him it gives me more flexibility in the meantime,” Dukes said.
Dukes comments on Wyche’s report that moving Calvin Ridley is another away to create cap space.
“Now he brought up Calvin Ridley, I know you’ve been saying you think he’s gone and maybe you’re right, but when you put it in the context of saving eleven million dollars that makes it kinda easy, right?”
