Falcons Head Coach Raheem Morris made waves a few weeks ago when he declared "stats are for losers" when asked about the numbers his team put up in a contest. After the team's 34-14 loss on Sunday, he doubled down on those remarks. "Stats are for losers and we lost," Morris said to the assembled media after the game.

The Falcons suffered their first loss in four games and did not look good in the contest. Kirk Cousins threw two interceptions and the Seahawks recovered a fumble for a touchdown. Those stats certainly did not help the team.

The team now prepares for a rematch with the division rival Buccaneers in which they won a thriller on Thursday Night Football. Kirk Cousins and the offense will have to make those stats count in that affair.
