The Atlanta Falcons play their second preseason game tonight at home in Mercedes-Benz Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals, and the starters will play tonight, so that means Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Mack Hollins, Grady Jarrett, David Onyemata, and most importantly Desmond Ridder will all get some reps tonight.
Falcons Digital Managing Editor, Scott Bair, joined The Morning Shift earlier today and told Tiffany, Mike, and Beau what he wanted to see from the Falcons second year quarterback tonight.
“Is he gonna execute? Is he gonna be on time? Is he gonna have command in the pocket? I think those things are gonna be key.” Bair said.
Arthur Smith isn’t going to unveil any special plays, so with what will be a pretty vanilla playbook Desmond Ridder and Atlanta’s offense will have to be extra sharp, clean, and this will be a great opportunity for Desmond Ridder to take the first step in showing he’s the Falcons franchise quarterback.
