Even though Michael Penix Jr. only started three games last season for the Atlanta Falcons the local media, national media, and Falcons fans are very high on Falcons’ young quarterback and believe with the team Penix Jr. has around him Atlanta could be a playoff team. Earlier today on The Steakhouse Drew Butler and Abe Gordon debated about what the expectations should be for Michael Penix Jr.
There will almost certainly be ups and downs for Michael Penix Jr. this season, but if he can take care of the football, make good decisions, complete down field passes, and timely throws the Falcons should be contenders to win the NFC South and maybe even more than that.
