You can never have enough wide receivers, right?

The Atlanta Falcons closed out their 2021 NFL Draft by selecting wide receiver Frank Darby out of Arizona State. The 6'0, 201 lbs receiver was an All-PAC12 honorable mention in 2019 after finishing with 31 receptions for 616 yards and 8 touchdowns. In 2020, he played in all four games, starting three, and was team captain for the Sun Devils. He was limited to only six receptions for 46 yards after sustaining a rib injury early in the season.

Darby will look to come in and be a depth piece for the Falcons. He will look to compete for playing time as a rotational guy for the receiving core, but will likely make his impact on special teams. The 19.7 yards per reception he averaged at Arizona State is encouraging and he could make an impact in the deep passing attack.
