Mike Griffith of DawgNation joined Thomas Mott to talk Georgia Football on a Monday edition of Ready or Mott.
Thomas asked Mike what he thought about the season-opening matchup with the Clemson Tigers in Charlotte, North Carolina, and whether or not the Dawgs could afford to lose that game. In answering, Mike said something that might draw the ire of Yellow Jacket fans.
"This is the team that Georgia should be playing every year, not Georgia Tech," said Griffith. "Clemson should be the annual rival"

Mike went on to say that Georgia Tech just doesn't add the pedigree that a team like Clemson brings.
"Georgia Tech does zero to help your championship cause, zero to get any national attention or any recruits on the field," said Griffith.
The Dawgs have had its matchup of "Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate" with the Yellow Jackets a whopping 114 times and Georgia leads the series 68-41-5. But it has been a pretty one-sided affair since the Mark Richt era began in 2001.
