The Georgia Bulldogs are moving with their travel plans as scheduled despite the new playoff rules the College Football Committee announced on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs will fly down to Miami on Sunday to their semifinal game against Michigan in the Orange Bowl on December 31.

Georgia quarterback J.T. Daniels and receiver George Pickens tested positive for Covid-19 and their status for the game remains uncertain. The Dawgs did offer players the opportunity to get the booster shot following their final practice on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Michigan football team and staff will arrive in Miami on Dec. 25.

The CFB committee outlined what would happen if any of the playoff teams were unable to play. If a team is not available to play in their semifinal game, it would be a forfeit and the other team would play in the national championship game. If both teams are unavailable to play, the other semifinal game would act as the national title game. If no team can play, there would be no national champion this season.
