The first sign of trouble came when he appeared on College GameDay during the show’s stop at Vanderbilt. Concerns became reality Tuesday morning, when Curtis reportedly (via Rivals/Steve Wiltfong) informed the Georgia Bulldogs’ staff that he planned to head to Nashville instead of Athens. He is expected to officially sign with Vanderbilt during a ceremony on Wednesday.

Jared Curtis had been on track to become Georgia’s highest-rated recruit ever, but his departure now leaves the Bulldogs without a quarterback in their 2026 class. The Dawgs still have plenty of time before February’s Signing Day, and they could also look to the transfer portal to add depth to their quarterback room.
