The Georgia Bulldogs had a pretty tame first half against Clemson before the offense woke up in the second half of their season opener. Last week with a inferior opponent they were expected to look good and they did, but can they score early and often against Kentucky after Carson Beck regularly started slow last year.
Another reason that Bulldogs fans would like to see Georgia put some points on the board early is how tricky some recent games have been in Lexington against Kentucky. In 2022 Georgia won 16-6 and in 2020 they left Kroger Field with a 14-3 victory.
We've seen a few of the other top contenders like Texas and Ohio State separate from their opponents in the first half and it would be wise for Georgia to do the same, especially in a place that has been a bit difficult to find blowouts in recent trips there.
