On Monday Andy & Randy reacted to the breaking news that Auburn has fired its head football coach, Bryan Harsin, after going 9-12 in his first two seasons with the Tigers.
“We all knew this was coming but here it is, Bryan Harsin has been officially fired,” Andy said.
“Not surprised. Eventually he was going to lose this job...it was a head-scratching hire,” Randy replied.
Andy asked Randy which coach should be at the top of Auburn’s list to replace Harsin. After quickly moving past Deion Sanders as an option, the guys turned their attention to a former head coach in the SEC.
“I just want to know if Hugh Freeeze is still on the SEC blacklist?” Randy asked. Andy said Freeze is winning games but also mentioned that Auburn might turn to one of the assistants on Kirby Smart’s coaching staff in Athens.
Both Andy & Randy agree that Auburn is still one of the best college football coaching jobs in the country.
