Outside of a handful of field goals, the national championship game has featured a lack of offense. Alabama's Will Anderson Jr. is making his mark on the game heading into halftime.

Some people are showering the Bama linebacker with big praise in his performance so far, and leaving some to wonder why he wasn't in New York for the Heisman ceremony.

Unfortunately, he is only a sophomore and can't declare for the draft until his junior year. He has played a big part into the defensive nature of the game with the lowest score we've seen at the half of a national championship game in quite some time.

If Anderson can keep up his performance in the second half, Bama has a good shot at keeping the dogs at bay.
