Super Bowl 55 between the Buccaneers and Chiefs is set for Sunday at 6:30pm ET and many people are looking at the biggest key to the game as how the Chiefs offensive line holds up against the Buccaneers pass rush.
Usually it wouldn't even be a thought, but with the injuries along the line for Kansas City, a strength has become a weakness.
The Chiefs will be without starting lineman Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz and they are waiting to see if Center Daniel Kilgore will be taken off the COVID list in time for the game.
Former NFL Center Matt Birk, who won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens, takes a look at the concern for the Chiefs and why it's a real problem considering who the Bucs have lining up opposite of them on the defensive line.
"This was the perfect matchup until Eric Fisher went down," says Birk. "Now I think it's a big disadvantage because this Tampa front four is rushing the passer really well and you saw what Jason Pierre-Paul did to a backup left tackle. We all know, especially at offensive tackle, there's a huge dropoff from the starter to the backup."
