Heading into Sunday as one of the hottest teams in the NFL with three straight wins, the Atlanta Falcons had the opportunity to catapult themselves into more national conversations in regards to being a contender for reaching the NFC Championship. And while their 34-14 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday did not have a drastic impact on the Falcons race for a division title, their pass rush continues to be the center of discussion.

“We’re a nice team with major flaws, that major flaw of course is the fact we have zero pass rush,” Steak Shapiro said on Monday as he and Drew Butler shared their thoughts on the Falcons struggles to get to Seahawks quarterback, Geno Smith, who finished with 207 passing yards and two touchdowns and was only sacked once by the Falcons.

“If you allow Geno Smith, who’s leading the NFL in pretty much every passing statistic, to sit back there and deliver the ball down field to DK Metcalf, Tyler Locket and Noah Fant, you are going to have issues,” Butler said as he shared his thoughts on the Falcons having a “non-existent” pass rush in Sunday’s loss. “You have warts on this team,” Shapiro added, explaining the Falcons defensive front and “okay” linebacker core, are not getting the job done.
