Positive test sidelines Falcons' Terrell

The rookie tested positive on Friday

The Atlanta Falcons have placed rookie cornerback AJ Terrell on the reserve/COVID list for Sunday's games versus the Bears. Terrell is the first player in the NFL to test positive during the season and miss a game.

The Falcons were already limited at cornerback due to Jordan Miller still serving a suspension for testing positive for a banned substance last December. The secondary will rely on Darqueze Dennard and Blidi Wreh-Wilson to take Terrell's spot.

Will Palaszczuk reacted by saying the Falcons lost their best cornerback versus the Bears.

The Falcons have signed Tyler Hall and Delrick Adams to the 52 man roster.
