GRANADA HILLS (CNS) - A multi-vehicle crash in the Granada Hills area Wednesday critically injured a man and seriously injured two other people, authorities said.

Paramedics were sent to the 13200 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard, two blocks south of Saticoy Street, at about 12:15 p.m., according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

"A total of six patients were evaluated and three were transported (for hospital treatment)," Stewart said in a statement.

Firefighters freed a man about 50-60 years old who was trapped in the wreckage, and paramedics took him to a hospital in critical condition. Two other people were hospitalized in serious condition, Stewart said.
