Parts of MacArthur Park were evacuated Wednesday as a man who may be armed with a gun reportedly locked himself in a stall.
Officers responded to a call about "an assault with a deadly weapon,” according to NBC Los Angeles.
Police say when the officer confronted the man, he "simulated holding a gun” and went into the bathroom.
CBS Los Angeles reported that the man was taken into custody before 12:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
