The incident happened at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and involved Chickillo and his girlfriend Alysha Newman, according to a criminal complaint.

It reportedly began after the couple got into an argument over table games at the Lady Luck Casino.

Chickillo claimed Newman hit him in the head.

Newman says she only did so after Chickillo had grabbed her and pushed her against the wall.

Chickillo is charged with simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment and was released on $10,000 bail.

The Steelers say they are still gathering information on the incident.
