PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - After Bryce Harper struck out looking to begin the Top of the 11th, Rhys Hoskins came to the plate for the Philadelphia Phillies and hit a line drive down the line to left into the second row to put the Phillies up 2-1.
Melky Cabrera reached on a base hit with one out in the bottom half of the 11th, but Ranger Suarez struck out both Jacob Stallings, who pinch hit for Felipe Vazquez, and Colin Moran looking to end the game and the Phillies win 2 of 3 in this weekend series in Pittsburgh.
The Pirates offense was clicking on all cylinders heading into the All Star Break, but has been very spotty in the first nine game coming out of the break.
