
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan)-Major League Baseball still does not have a deal in place to start the 2020 season despite multiple proposals being provided by the owners and the players.
But nothing has been agreed to as of yet but Forbes Magazine and USA Today Baseball Business Writer told the Cook and Joe Show on Tuesday when he joined them as a guest that there will be a season even if the Commissioner will have to mandate it and have to shove it down the players throats.
Brown thinks a deal will get done because both sides know of the impact that they will have to endure if they don't play this season but he doesn't see a hard deadline being days away.
He thinks that if they are looking at 5--60 games they still have some wiggle room to get a deal done.
As far as the sport moving forward as the players and owners trying to come to an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement.
"If you like what's going on now.....wait until next year." Brown told Cook and Joe
