PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Wednesday that they have recalled forward Adam Johnson from the Wilkes-Barre/Scanton Penguins after forward Alex Galchenyuk was placed on injured reserve.

October 9, 2019 Johnson, 25, played in one preseason game with the Penguins on September 15, scoring one goal and was plus-2 against the Sabres.
He also played six NHL games with the Pens last season, collecting two assists and finished plus-2.
The 6-foot, 174-pound forward played in the WBS Penguins’ season opener against Hershey Bears, recording two assists.
The Pens play the Anaheim Ducks at PPG Paints Arena on Thursday night. Puck drops at 7:00 P.M.
