Will The NHL Season Continue?

The second half of the show opens up with Paul speaking the hotline with Mike DeFabo from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. They start their conversation off by looking at the possibility of the NHL season resuming in North Dakota. Paul and DeFabo look at some of the challenges that would come along with having all the teams based there, or having them spread throughout the country. They both agree that a key to getting any sport started back up is going to be rapid testing and having easy access to those tests. Paul and DeFabo talks about some of the options that have been put out there, and they focus on the league going straight to the playoffs because they both feel like there was enough of a regular season to give it legitimate value. They also look at the time frame of when the league might resume play, and they feel that we might have a legitimate idea of when training could start back up within three to four weeks. Paul and DeFabo also talk about watching classic games, the Penguins goal tending situation, and what NHL players can do to stay in shape until the season starts back up.
