The Pirates dropped the series finale in San Francisco in 12 innings and went 3-3 on the road trip out west. The Pirates outfield defense has been absolutely atrocious this year. Poni says that he feels good about Soto and Santana in the bullpen, but that’s it.
Former MLB pitcher Matt Clement joined the show. Matt says that he would not give up either one of Barco or Johnson for Brooks Raley, who the Pirates are reportedly looking to acquire. Matt does not like the potential idea of a 6-man rotation upon the return of Jared Jones.
