Plum native, former NFL punter and media superstar Pat McAfee had some incredible to share on his show Wednesday.
After two lost pregnancy, McAfee’s wife Samantha is pregnant.
The McAfee’s journey to have a child has been a difficult one. Samantha almost lost her life both times due to internal bleeding.
She had to have her Fallopian tubes removed.
This past summer, the couple began In vitro fertilization, a very difficult process.
As Mrs. McAfee said in a tweet, “After about 150 shots, a surgery, a transfer, countless blood tests, waiting on embryos, genetic testing, hoping for a big fat positive on a pee stick. So much support from family & close friends.
We are beyond happy & blessed to announce our double rainbow baby!”
On Wednesday, McAfee revealed on his show that Samantha is now through the first trimester.
