
A former Pittsburgh sports anchor was made internet famous on Tuesday after the station he works for simply tweeted out his name.
“Mark Johnson” the tweet from Boise, Idaho’s KTVB said with a link to his biography.
Johnson was WTAE’s evening sports anchor from 1995 through the spring of 1996.
While his time in Pittsburgh was brief, he did cover the Steelers Super Bowl XXX run that ended with a loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Johnson returned to KTVB (where he started his career) to become the Sports Director at that station.
Johnson is now a news anchor for TVB.
Twitter users took quick notice of the tweet and soon his name was trending.
Johnson also got into the act.
