There is another McCutchen on the way.
Former Pirates MVP Andrew McCutchen and his wife Maria will welcome their third child in mid-October.
Their first child Steel was born in November 2017 and Armani X was born on Christmas Eve 2019.
In a post on Instagram, Maria said, “We can’t wait to meet you Lil’ mama!”, indicating the baby will be a girl.
A first round pick who played nine seasons, McCutchen was a five-time All-Star and won an MVP in 2013.
One thing Pirates fans will never forget about McCutchen, though, is that in 2013, he led a team that brought the playoffs back to Pittsburgh for the first time since 1992.

Cutch was more than just a great ball player in Pittsburgh, he also became a fan favorite off the field with his humanitarian efforts and community involvement.
McCutchen played his first game at PNC Park since 2018 last month, when the Philadelphia Phillies came into Pittsburgh.
He received a standing ovation during his first at bat.
