Two former Pitt players have been signed to NFL 53-man rosters.
Center Jimmy Morrissey has signed with the Texans from the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad after Houston starter Justin Britt suffered a knee injury.

Backup Justin McCray played this past Sunday against the Colts.
Morrissey was taken in the seventh round of the past April’s draft by the Raiders, was cut at the end of camp and then signed with their practice squad.
Former Panthers kicker Chris Blewitt has signed with the Washington Football Team after they released kicker Dustin Hopkins.
Hopkins, who had been with Washington since 2015, has missed two field goals and two point-after attempts through the first six games of the season.
Blewitt’s most famous kick is probably his game-winning 48-yard field goal against Clemson in 2016. The Panthers knocked off the #2 Tigers 43-42.
Blewitt tried out for a few NFL teams and was on Washington’s practice squad earlier this season but was cut earlier in October, re-signing with the practice squad on Tuesday.
