But it isn’t just the players and coaches getting ready for a new season at PNC Park.

Crews were seen on Monday constructing the brand new scoreboard.

A helicopter was seen flying around the stadium delivering parts of the new 142-foot-width scoreboard for crews to install.

The previous scoreboard was 82 feet.

The new scoreboard is the biggest upgrade to the Park going into the new season and should be up and running by Opening Day.

The Pirates open their season on March 30 in Cincinnati and Opening Day at PNC Park will be on April 7 against the Chicago White Sox.

First pitch is 4:12 p.m.
