PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Pirates adding a 27-year-old outfielder who had some power in AAA, but has done little of anything in the majors.
Left-handed hitting Will Robertson totaled 20 home runs with 21 doubles with a .289 average and .958 OPS in AAA last season between Buffalo and Charlotte, the AAA teams of the Blue Jays and White Sox, in 2025. He got in 24 games with the White Sox this season hitting .133, a .159 on-base percentage and .309 OPS with a double and eight RBI.
Robertson was the Blue Jays fourth-round pick out of Creighton in 2019. In six seasons in the minors, .247 average, .334 on-base, 792 OPS with 117 doubles, 85 home runs and 298 RBI.
He takes the 40-man roster spot of infielder/outfielder Ryan Kreidler.
