Pirates’ outfielder Bryan Reynolds and his wife Blair have announced the birth of their first child.
Reynolds made the announcement official on Tuesday.
Reese Scott Reynolds was born on August 31.
The 25-year-old was placed on the team’s paternity list on Sunday, Will Craig was recalled.
In 30 games this season, Reynolds is batting .184 with 19 hits, 4 doubles, 2 triples and 2 home runs.
