Pirates lose RHP Roddery Muñoz to Marlins

The Pirates have lost a pitcher they Designated for Assignment last week to make room for first baseman Rowdy Tellez to the Miami Marlins.

Right-hand pitcher Roddery Munoz was picked up by the Marlins according to MLB.com

Munoz had a 5.86 ERA with 68 strike outs and 46 walks over 66 innings in Triple-A Indianapolis last season.

Munoz is only 23 and still has time to improve.

The Pirates will get cash considerations in exchange for Munoz.
