Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin make it pretty clear that Mitch Trubisky will start again on Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts with Kenny Pickett still out.

Tomlin actually thinks Trubisky got better during the second half of the loss to the Patriots and expects him to be better on Saturday.

So, those hoping for Mason Rudolph, who hasn’t started a game since November 14, 2021, are out of luck.

“He just hasn’t had a lot of exposure in terms of in-helmet prep,” Tomlin explained during his weekly news conference.

One of those people that think Rudolph should get a chance is former Steelers wide reliever Antonio Brown.

Brown hosted a “Free Mason” event on X Spaces.

“I feel like he never really had the opportunity to be in the situation, to take the team over, to win over the team, to win over the people that’s behind him,” said Brown. “I feel like he’s just been in the woods, just still there and the think about the NFL is all about the longevity.”

Brown said he thinks Rudolph has “been through the most” and that it’s the “perfect scenario” for Rudolph to come in and help the Steelers lock in a playoff spot.
