“Cam Heyward — a no-question Hall of Famer, in my mind,” Collinsworth said.

While that nice of him to says, it’s just not true, at least not yet.

When asked on the PM Team if he thinks Heyward is a Hall of Famer, NFL Insider John Clayton simply said, “no.”

Clayton, who has a Hall of Fame vote himself, doesn’t even think Heyward is the best tackle on the Steelers defense.

“Say what you want, Stephon Tuitt is better when he’s healthy, because what, he had 11 sacks last year,” said Clayton. “You have to be so unique to be in the Hall of Fame.”

Tuitt is still on the Steelers Reserve/Injured list

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said of Tuitt on Tuesday, “He’s still on IR, working hard and making progress,” Tomlin said.  “How close he is to returning to play.  I do not have an answer to that as I stand right now.”

While Heyward may not be a Hall of Fame player, he will definitely be a member of the Steelers Hall of Honor someday.
